On the Road: The 1st Day

At 9:46am I left home, and, staring out at the beautiful blue sky dotted with marshmallow clouds, I thought “I’m bursting with the sense of infinite possibility.”

Now it’s 8pm, and I’m finally bunked at my hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.  Yet, the feeling of possibility remains.  It was a long drive today – 7 full hours – but I loved every minute of it.  There is nothing quite as relaxing as solitude and a long drive.  At least, as long as I have music to rock out to and Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy audiobook.

I’ll try to write some of the thoughts I tracked today soon, but, for tonight at least, I’m busy finishing coverletters for job applications and scouring job listings for the right career. *le sigh*
