Bubble Bummer

I am loving my new skates, but my left foot was dragging a bit. I thought for a while that it was just getting accustomed to the new skates. That is, until I played around with the wheels…

(Radar Flat Out 88A, 62MM)

I’ve a flat wheel!

It appears that when the wheel was poured into the mold (I’m assuming that’s how it’s done) some sort of air bubble was caught. The wheel looks whole with the exception of a small hole, but the rubber can be easily pushed in like it’s hollow in that spot. The hollow area is about the size of my thumbprint.

Sin City Skates, who sold me my Vixens, offered to get a replacement wheel from the manufacturer immediately. Awesome. The new wheel should arrive this week. Rock on.
